| dc.description | This project also falls under the ASEAN-Japan MIDORI Cooperation Plan. Under this Plan, Japan and ASEAN are working together toward sustainable and resilient agriculture and food systems, and this project makes an important contribution to the sound management of fishery resources.
ASEAN has also entered a new phase under the ASEAN Food, Agriculture and Forestry Sectoral Plan 2026–2030 (FAF-SP). The new Plan clearly identifies the promotion of sustainable fisheries as a priority, including preventing overfishing and maintaining healthy fish stocks through ecosystem-based fisheries management and sustainable fishing practices. | en |
